Operational Leadership, Philanthropic Stewardship, and Community Advocacy

Deatria brings operational leadership, philanthropic stewardship, and more than three decades of community engagement to the Love Call Foundation.

A general contractor since 2016, she has experience managing construction projects and business operations. Since 2022, she has served as Executive Trustee of a private family trust and foundation, with responsibility for governance, asset stewardship, and charitable direction.

Her board and civic experience includes service with the National Diversity Coalition from 2016 to 2023, where she drafted compliance documentation and advocated with federal policymakers on issues affecting low- and moderate-income communities and Opportunity Zones. From 2017 to 2024, she served on The Change Company’s Community Advisory Board, including ad hoc committees supporting initiatives focused on underserved communities and fair access to financing.

Earlier, from 1991 to 2010, Deatria founded and led Community Day through Power of Love Christian Fellowship Community. The outreach initiative began in Manchester and grew into an annual event at Southwest College, bringing people together through service and community connection.

Deatria’s experience across construction, foundation governance, advocacy, and community programming equips her to help the Love Call Foundation steward resources responsibly, assess opportunities, and turn its mission into sustained action.
